April Favourites

Well here we are at the end of another month!

I've been impatiently waiting for May to begin for weeks as we will be (hopefully!) finding out the gender of our baby, going on holiday and have two bank holiday weekends so April has been quite a long and boring month. As always, I don't have a huge number of products to share with you, but quality over quantity eh?!

I swithered over whether to include the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation as I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I've found myself reaching for it every morning recently. I bought this in late February on a bit of a whim- I'd just run out of all of my day-to-day foundations, the supermarket only had a Rimmel stand and I knew it was popular amongst bloggers and youtubers- and the first time I used it I thought it was terrible. At that point I was in the first trimester of my pregnancy and my skin had gone haywire, and this just seemed to highlight all of my imperfections. Once my skin cleared, I tried it again and the difference was like night and day. People commented on how 'well' and 'glowing' I looked (and believe me, I the natural pregnancy glow seems to have escaped me entirely)!

I've found the trick is to be a bit more generous with the product, and use two pumps instead of one. Using a stippling brush and really working it in really helps with the glow, rather than having a shiny layer just sitting on your skin. I know some people worry about the glitter in the product, but I only see this in the bottle, it doesn't transfer to the face at all. My only complaint at the moment is that the scent reminds me of suncream, which makes me want to go on holiday so badly!

With the weather being so changeable recently, my skin has become really dry and uncomfortable. I recently ran out of my night cream so was using my day one, but it wasn't really repairing the skin. I was recommended the No7 Essential Moisture range by the consultant, and I've been blown away by the difference. After showering my skin felt so tight and I was waking up feeling the same- obviously the day cream wasn't penetrating deeply enough through the night. This soothes it straight away, and my skin still feels amazing the next morning. It's also the cheapest moisturiser in the No7 range at £9.50 which is another bonus!

I have also been loving the No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in Statement. The formulation of these are great, giving the finish of a gloss with the hydration of a balm and have decent staying power of about three hours. The rest of the shade range looks lovely, and I'd definitely recommend Statement as the perfect everyday 'throw on and don't worry' colour.

Another budget find has been the Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner. I avoid liquid liner like the plague, but lately I've been feeling that my kohl liner is a bit too heavy for my top lids. This is the perfect way to achieve the liquid look with the most idiot-proof application. I'm ashamed to admit that the 24 hours claim does hold up after waking up a few times recently with my eye make-up still perfectly intact. Even after nights out I've always managed to take my make-up off (however shoddily). Honestly, the things pregnancy does to you!

And last but not least is the Benefit They're Real mascara. I've professed my love for this time and time again but I always find myself straying in a bid to find a cheaper alternative. Well I opened this tube at the beginning of the month and it is as amazing as ever. Argh, why can't you be less expensive?!

Well it was just as well I didn't have any more favourites as I seem to have rambled on about these six for quite enough! Well done and thanks if you made it through!

What have you been loving this month?

Bumpkin: Week 18 Update

Monday 27/04/15

How far along? 18 weeks

Total weight gain: Three pounds since I last weighed myself two weeks ago so I'm now 9st 11lbs, which is a total gain of about 11lbs

Maternity clothes?  Still nothing, although I'm in jeggings constantly. Real jeans are the work of the devil!

Stretch marks?  Still no new ones, phew! I said last week that I thought my existing ones were starting to improve, but I think I must have been looking at them under soft lighting because in the harsh light of day they're still the same!

Sleep:  I've been sleeping really well recently, and have only been up once through the night. I seem to be going through another period of exhaustion though which have been making the days tough to get through.

Best moment this week: Feeling the baby for the first time! After weeks and weeks of second guessing every little bubble I finally felt it whilst lying in bed on Saturday night (17 weeks, 5 days). It felt just like a little mouse running around, much 'heavier' than the butterflies I'd imagined and was a completely different sensation to what had obviously just been gas bubbles before! Once it happens you definitely know!

Worst moment this week:  Feeling really low and upset for most of Saturday after trying on a dress I'd planned to wear to an event. It was a stretchy t-shirt style bodycon one I've had since before I got pregnant, and I thought it would show off the bump perfectly. Unfortunately it also highlighted my enlarged bum and thighs and made me feel awful. As grateful as I am to be pregnant, sometimes it can be hard to accept the changes in your body, and I've been really struggling with that recently. I have been the same weight, shape and size since my teens so it's a bit of a shock to my system.

Miss anything?  Not this week

Movement: Yes!! :D

Food cravings:  Lettuce and tomatoes covered in salad cream

Anything making you queasy or sick:  I've had bad indigestion over the past couple of days, which has made me quite nauseous

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms: Indigestion is back this week, boobs still very tender, nosebleeds, emotions running riot!

Belly button in or out?  Still in

Happy or moody most of the time?  Either very happy or very upset, there's been no in-between this week. I feel sorry for my poor boyfriend, he doesn't know what he's coming home to at the end of the day!

Looking forward to:  The bank holiday weekend. I have lots of nice lunches and dates with friends and family planned which will be lovely :)

Bumpkin: Week 17 Update

Monday 20/04/15

How far along? 17 weeks

Total weight gain: I didn't weigh myself over the weekend as we were away and I didn't want to use different scales. I shall do so in the next couple of days and update next week

Maternity clothes?  Nope but will need to buy a maternity swimsuit very soon. I tried a tankini on from Primark which was fine for the bump but had absolutely no chest support. Let's just say it did me no favours!

Stretch marks?  No new ones, and I think that the existing ones may be starting to improve slightly!

Sleep:  Loving it again!

Best moment this week: Hearing Bumpkin's heartbeat for the first time at my midwife appointment! <3

Worst moment this week:  Ending up with backache after a whole day and night in heels and throwing some shapes on the dancefloor. I imagine being stone-cold sober meant my dancing was stiff and lifeless which has no doubt contributed!

Miss anything?  Paté, runny eggs, shellfish

Movement:  Nothing yet. The midwife warned me not to expect anything until week 18 at the absolute earliest, so I think I've been a bit premature with all of my second guessing

Food cravings:  King prawns... ooh I miss them so much! And steak pie again, although that's a given these days!

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not this week :)

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  My boobs have become much more tender again over the past week, almost like they were in the first few weeks. I've also been having nosebleeds recently which I've never ever had before, but I'm assured is just down to the extra blood flow

Belly button in or out?  Inny but on the move!

Happy or moody most of the time?  Happy, happy!

Looking forward to:  The weekend! We had such a busy one this weekend with catching up with friends, a wedding, staying overnight and ferrying people home that I'm already counting down to the next one!

Bump (I've cut my boyfriend out of this as he's too shy to appear):

My First Trimester Essentials

On the whole, my first trimester was pretty much smooth sailing. I have a fear of being sick (although weirdly I don't mind dealing with anyone else's), so the fact that I escaped morning sickness all together makes me feel very lucky. The symptoms I did have were par-for-the-course, but I did have a few items which helped me through.
Beautysets - 1st tri

1.Vitamins
These didn't help with any symptoms but are obviously essential throughout pregnancy. I was already taking folic acid before I fell pregnant, but wanted to switch to something which made sure I got Iron and Vitamin D as well. These do the job, but I'll warn you that they are massive and you need to gulp at least half a glass of water with it to make sure it goes down. If you can't deal with large tablets I'd recommend looking for something smaller, as even I struggle with these sometimes.

2.Dry Crackers
Although I was only sick a couple of times during the first trimester, I found myself becoming quite nauseous and faint throughout the day, especially if I let myself get too hungry. I was never much of a snacker before, but it became too hard for me to just stick to three meals a day with huge gaps in between. Things like plain crackers or oatcakes with cheese even digestives were great to level out my blood sugar and stave off any nausea.

3.Water
OMG the thirst is just something else. You will honestly feel like you've been trapped in the middle of the desert for the past three days and your life depends on getting a drink. Before becoming pregnant I drank around 1.5-2l of water a day but this has now almost doubled because I have to constantly have a drink by my side. I usually get through about a pint during the night too, which is doing wonders for the nightly toilet trips (not).

4.Non-wired bras
The last thing I could have done was to wear a padded, push-up bra during the first ten weeks because my breasts were just so tender. You wont believe the difference a non-wired bra will make!

5.Pantyliners
Take my word for it- you'll need these!

6.Full Coverage Make-up
My skin went absolutely haywire during my first trimester to the point where people commented on it so I had to up my game in terms of coverage when it came to my make-up. I've always worn Esteé Lauder Doublewear on nights out/special days, but it's too expensive for me to wear on a daily basis, so a great budget alternative has been the Seventeen Stay Time foundation. It doesn't quite have the staying power of Doublewear, but holds up just fine for a day at work. As always, I've been using the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer which works a treat. I just pray that my skin will clear up a bit for the warmer weather so I can wear something a bit lighter.

7. Jeggings
At the moment I can still do up my jeans, but they are not comfortable in the slightest, and haven't been for several weeks. I'm only just starting to get a proper bump, but even at the beginning of my pregnancy, the bloat just made normal jeans a nightmare so I've been relying on jeggings. These are from Tesco, were £10, and are the best quality I've ever had.

8. Pregnancy Apps
I'm a firm believer in not googling anything to do with my pregnancy, as it usually comes back with something awful which just makes me worry. I stayed away from apps for the majority of my first trimester, but eventually caved and got Pregnancy+ and wish I had sooner. It's free for two weeks and then £2.99 but I think it's well worth it. As well as providing updates on the baby week by week, you can also keep track of your weight, symptoms and cravings. There's also a labour section, and although I don't think it will be a priority for me to pull out the iPad to time my contractions, it has given me a great start on my birth plan. The fact that baby names are also included means I can keep track of everything in the one place instead of flitting here, there and everywhere.

So that's my list! What were your first trimester essentials?

Bumpkin: Week 16 Update

Monday 13/04/15

How far along? 16 weeks exactly. I've finally caught up with posting from first tri and beyond so can actually post on the correct day now!

Total weight gain: Two pounds, so I'm now 9st 8lbs. Started at roughly 8st 13lbs/9st (my brain has gone fuzzy and I can't remember exactly).

Maternity clothes?  None yet. Still struggling to find anything in the shops, whether that be maternity or non-maternity wear.

Stretch marks?  I don't think that there are any new ones, but my boobs haven't improved in the slightest, despite me sloshing bio-oil all over them several times a day.

Sleep:  Ok, apart from the two-hourly toilet trips which are driving me insane!

Best moment this week: Getting away from work on time every night last week. It's such a novelty to get home at a decent time and still have the whole evening ahead. Long may it continue!

Worst moment this week:  Slipping down the stairs. I managed to catch myself on the handrail before I fell but it certainly gave me a fright and twisted my back slightly. Our stairs are wooden and I had brand-new socks on- not a good combination!

Miss anything?  Still my beloved runny eggs!

Movement:  Nothing definite, but I've had a few 'ooh is that?' moments. I think it's still a bit early though.

Food cravings:  Wait for it... steak pie again! I've also had a very sudden craving for jammie dodgers so will be nipping to the shop for a packet soon as a wee treat.

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not this week :)

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  The only new thing has been shortness of breath which I can only assume will get worse as my lungs become more squished as bubs grows!

Belly button in or out?  Inny but on the move!

Happy or moody most of the time?  Happy, happy!

Looking forward to:  A wedding we are attending this weekend. It will be nice to dress the bump up for it's first proper (not secret) event!

Sunday 12 April 2015

Bumpkin: Week 15 Update

Wednesday 08/04/15

How far along? 15 weeks and 2 days

Total weight gain: Another pound this week, bringing me to 9st 6lbs. Six pounds gained in total.

Maternity clothes?  I finally bought some maternity bras this weekend, but other than that I can't find anything I like. I tried on the majority of the maternity collection in H&M, but I felt like a frumpy dumpling in everything so left it all!

Stretch marks?  No new ones, but the ones on my boobs are still firmly in place :(

Sleep:  Fine! (for the past few nights anyway!)

Best moment this week: The amazing weather we had over the Easter weekend. We went for lots of long walks which made me so excited for this time next year when we can go for big walks with our pram! :)

Worst moment this week:  My bra being so uncomfortable it gave me bruises. I finally gave in and bought new ones. Maternity bras are so frumpy though! I grudge paying for them!

Miss anything?  Still my beloved runny eggs!

Movement:  None yet, but I definitely think I had a small body part wedged firmly into my back which gave me weird twinges over the weekend.

Food cravings:  Steak pie again... baby has expensive taste!

Anything making you queasy or sick:  I've been quite nauseous in general recently, but I don't think it's down to anything in particular.

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  Constant heartburn this week which has been just wonderful. Rennies are my best friend right now!

Belly button in or out?  Inny but starting to change I think!

Happy or moody most of the time?  Happy, but grumpy when it comes to getting dressed because I feel rubbish in everything.

Looking forward to:  Some movement!

Bumpkin: Week 14 Update

Friday 03/04/15

How far along? 14 weeks and 4 days

Total weight gain: Another two pounds this week, so I'm now 9st 5lbs (started at 8st 13lb)

Maternity clothes?  Not yet, but only because I can't find anything I like. It is so irritating that stores only have their maternity section available online! I don't have enough experience with guessing sizes etc to buy in blind faith and I'm terrible at returning online purchases so I know I'd waste money. Bring them into store dammit!

Stretch marks?  Yes! :( tummy is escaping so far but sadly my boobs are under attack. Hopefully they will fade in time. Meanwhile I'll just keep slathering on stretch mark cream and hope for the best!

Sleep:  Good :) I've even eased on the toilet trips in the night and I've only been getting up once recently which has made a big difference!

Best moment this week:  Finishing up for a long weekend! Lots of little date days/nights are on the horizon :)

Worst moment this week:  Looking in the mirror and seeing my boobs. It sounds so shallow, but I just wasn't expecting it to be quite so full-on.

Miss anything?  Prawn cocktail again. I read this week you can have it as long as you're certain the prawns have been cooked, frozen and defrosted properly so I might have one in the next few weeks but I'm unsure just in case. With my luck, I'd be the one to get food poisoning!

Movement:  None, but second guessing everything!

Food cravings:  Prawn cocktail, steak pie again, skittles.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not in particular, but have been feeling quite nauseous generally this week.

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  Stretch marks, painful breasts, skin finally clearing up :) yay!

Belly button in or out?  Inny

Happy or moody most of the time?  Happy. It's been pretty smooth sailing mood-wise this week. I'm sure my boyfriend is relieved!

Looking forward to:  The long weekend and getting stuck into the Easter eggs!

Bumpkin: Week 13 Update

Friday 27/03/15

How far along? 13 weeks and 4 days. I was moved forward by two days at my scan, giving me a new due date of Monday 28th September 2015 :)

Total weight gain: Two pounds this week. I'm now 9st 3lb, 4lbs heavier than pre-pregnancy

Maternity clothes?  Nope, but it's just as well we announced as the bump is becoming too obvious to ignore!

Stretch marks?  No more new ones.. phew!

Sleep:  I'm back to feeling utterly exhausted this week, but I think I'm just drained as I was worrying myself into a right tizzy in the run up to the scan on Wednesday.

Best moment this week:  Seeing our little munchkin at our 13 week scan. I had no idea it would be so mobile- I expected some twitching- but it was doing proper somersaults and going crazy with it's little legs. It was so magical and feels so much more real now! :) I just can't wait to feel it moving!

Worst moment this week:  The lack of sleep on Tuesday night before the scan as I was being such a worrier.

Miss anything?  Still my beloved runny eggs!

Movement:  None, but I'm now on high alert!

Food cravings:  Steak pie with tons of mash. This has been a long-standing craving which will finally be satisfied tonight! Yum yum yum!

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nope, I've been hunky dory this week!

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  My blood pressure was still low on Wednesday when the midwife measured it, but I haven't been feeling light-headed or faint so I don't think it's anything to worry about. Most of my other symptoms have eased off and my skin has thankfully started to take a turn for the better. Hallelujah!

Belly button in or out?  Inny

Happy or moody most of the time?  Very, very happy this week. We've had lots of wonderful congratulations messages from everyone since announcing our news which has been lovely :)

Looking forward to:  Feeling some kicks! :)

Bumpkin at 13+2:

Friday 3 April 2015

Bumpkin: Week 12 Update

Monday 23/05/15

How far along? 12+5

Total weight gain: Another pound this week. I'm now 9st 1lb, two pounds heavier than my starting weight.

Maternity clothes?  No but I have instructed my boyfriend now to allow me to leave the shopping centre without maternity jeans when we go shopping on Wednesday. Mine are just too uncomfortable now.

Stretch marks?  I was freaking out the other day about one on my boob, but it seems to have disappeared. Not sure if that's due to my oil or if it was actually just a crease from the top I was wearing but I daren't admit to my boyfriend that my meltdown was for nothing!

Sleep:  Still disturbed, and I've been having nightmares the past couple of nights which is very strange for me. Nothing baby-related though thank goodness!

Best moment this week:  The weather FINALLY turning spring-like. It makes me look forward to going long walks with my pram so much!

Worst moment this week:  People being unable to keep their mouths shut. A family member we trusted to tell has told several people about the baby despite being asked not to as we haven't had our 13-week scan yet and our last appointment was as a result of an emergency. Someone else (that I don't even see or speak to) then posted MY news on Facebook for all extended family and friends to see. It really stressed me out, and I'm so disappointed in these people.

Miss anything?  Still my beloved runny eggs :(

Movement:  None

Food cravings:  Cherries, strawberries and crusty bread dipped in tomato soup

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Just if I let myself get too hungry

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  This week I've developed the most intense itching all over my bump, boobs, back and arms. I've read it's normal due to the increased blood flow but OMG it's driving me insane!

Belly button in or out?  Still an inny

Happy or moody most of the time?  Very up and down this week due to those thoughtless eejits.

Looking forward to: Seeing bubs on Wednesday at my 13-week scan and then having a lovely lunch and shopping date with my boyfriend afterwards. Hopefully I can convince him to let me buy a couple of things!

Bumpkin: Week 11 Update

Monday 16/03/15

How far along? 11+5

Total weight gain: I've gained a pound over the last week, making me 9st on the button

Maternity clothes?  Not yet but finding it harder to find tops which hide my belly. Won't be long!

Stretch marks?  No new ones since last week. I've been religiously applying Palmers stretch mark oil so hopefully that will keep them away for the time being!

Sleep:  I'm now up twice through the night for the loo which I am not enjoying! I'm so used to sleeping right through without having to get up so it's a hard adjustment. I have started to get some energy back though, so it's not bothering me as much as it would have a couple of weeks ago.

Best moment this week:  Telling the Grandparents! They were all ecstatic for us which was lovely and made it seem much more real

Worst moment this week:  Hmm nothing really. It's been a plain sailing week!

Miss anything?  Food-wise, still prawn cocktail and runny eggs. Apart from that I'm really missing having clear skin. My face is an absolute horror right now!

Movement:  None

Food cravings:  Fajitas and cherries

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Just if I let myself get too hungry

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  Most of my symptoms seem to have eased this week: I have more energy, my boobs aren't sore anymore and I haven't been feeling as ravenous. My skin is still a disaster and my boobs are still gigantic though.

Belly button in or out?  Still an inny

Happy or moody most of the time?  Happy happy happy this week. Especially now my Mum knows!

Looking forward to: My 13-week scan and being able to lift the lid on the secret properly!

Bump (sorry I know the flash was a bad move!):

Bumpkin: Week 10 Update

Monday 09/03/15

How far along? 10+5 (I was moved forward a day at our emergency scan meaning we are now due a September baby!)

Total weight gain: Lost a pound this past week. Now 8st 12lbs, 1lb less than my pre-pregnancy weight.

Maternity clothes?  No but have started to look online for ideas and reviews

Stretch marks?  Yes! *cries* One on my right hip. Will have to start a religious stretch mark prevention programme immediately!

Sleep:  Not very well this week. I've been really struggling to get comfy and to get back to sleep whenever I wake. I've even made my poor boyfriend swap sides with me but it doesn't seem to help.

Best moment this week:  Finishing at 11.30am on Friday and coming home to nap all afternoon. I'd been late home all last week due to training courses so this was much needed!

Worst moment this week:  The 'dinner' served at a training evening this week which turned out to be a couple of sausage rolls and some quiche (which I don't like). Needless to say I wasn't impressed.

Miss anything?  My small boobs. I've been so used to them being a certain size for about ten years so I'm struggling to adjust to these new knockers. I don't think they suit my frame at all, but I suppose my whole frame will adjust and it won't be as obvious in time. Lucky I didn't go through with that boob job I said I just had to get when I was 14 ;)

Movement:  None

Food cravings:  Fajitas! I ate four one night at dinner and was still craving them the next morning.

Anything making you queasy or sick:  I've been in large crowds a couple of times this week and the mixture of different deodorants, perfumes and aftershaves have caused a bit of an issue.

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  Just the usual ones, except my boobs have gotten less sore this week and my skin has become 10x worse. I hope the pregnancy glow finds me once I hit the second trimester!
Belly button in or out?  Still an inny

Happy or moody most of the time?  Happy on the whole this week. Have been taking subtle steps back at work too so have been less stressed :)

Looking forward to: Telling my Mum for Mother's Day this weekend! I think it will start to feel so much more real once the family is involved!

Bump:

Bumpkin: Week 9 Update

Sunday 01/03/15

How far along? 9+4

Total weight gain: No gain or loss this week, keeping me at 8st 13lbs.

Maternity clothes?  Still none, although one particular pair of jeans have to be worn unbuttoned. This is making them fall down though when I walk so think I'll just put them into retirement and make-do with my others for now. Will definitely need some new bras soon too.

Stretch marks?  None but I really must make a point of applying bump butter now it's starting to form. It's just been so cold lately that the thought of slathering myself in cream after a shower is not appealing in the slightest. Must man up!

Sleep:  Still the same. I had a wonder 15hr sleep on Friday and was in my bed less than 12 hours later last night :p my poor boyfriend must be so bored at the moment spending all his evenings alone!

Best moment this week:  Being reassured that Bumpkin is ok after a scare (see below)

Worst moment this week:  At 8+6 on Tuesday, I went to the bathroom and found that I was bleeding. I don't know if it's because I obviously haven't bled in a few months so I've forgotten what it's like, but it seemed as if there was A LOT. I've never been more scared in my life and went into complete panic. I was getting ready at that point for my booking appointment with the midwife so raced along to that. By that point the bleeding had completely stopped, and I hadn't experienced any pain or cramping whatsoever the whole day, but I was referred to early pregnancy for a check the next day.

Tuesday night dragged on and on, and eventually we made our way to the hospital on Wednesday morning. After about an hour and ten million questions we finally went to the ultrasound department. Because I had seen the baby at our private scan on Sunday, I knew exactly where to look for the heartbeat and concentrated on that exact spot while the sonographer whizzed about trying to get the best view of the baby. I can't actually describe how I felt the moment I realised it's little heart was still flickering away, but it was as if I was suddenly ten tonnes lighter, all the worry I had been carrying around for the past day just up and left :)

It's a bit of a blur now, so I can't really remember what the sonographer said had caused the bleeding, but she could see that it was lower down in my uterus/birth canal, and nowhere near either the placenta or baby which are obviously the most important bits! I was warned I may experience some more bleeding, although everything seems fine so far *runs around touching all the wood in the living-room*. I've just been trying to rest and not allow myself to be stressed. I'm counting down the days until our 13-week ultrasound to make sure everything is ok again, and hoping that once I start to feel the baby move I might be more at ease and convinced everything is ok (who am I kidding eh?!)

Miss anything?  Not being worried all the time!

Movement:  None

Food cravings:  Nothing specific this week

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Eggs- all types and everything about them. I can't have them anywhere near me at the moment!

Gender:  Not known

Labour signs:  None

Symptoms:  Bump forming, sore boobs, bigger boobs, greasy hair and spotty skin (argh when will I glow?!), general nausea, hunger, thirst, up through the night for the toilet, having to sleep with a cushion under my belly for support.
Belly button in or out?  Still in

Happy or moody most of the time?  This week has been very up and down in terms of emotions. I started off feeling amazing after our private ultrasound, which then turned to panic and sadness after the bleeding, then relieved but drained after the hospital and has now settled into being pretty happy, but always with an undercurrent of worry that I'm trying to keep at the back of my mind.
Looking forward to: My booking appointment which has been rearranged for tomorrow. Anything which signals progress!

Bumpkin this week:
